Explore product workflows, annotate the example image, and find software and release information.
1. Website operator and scope
The website at screendesk.us is operated by ScreenDesk LLC, a company registered in Delaware, United States ("ScreenDesk," "we," "us," or "our"). Our address for legal correspondence is 1209 Orange Street, Wilmington, DE 19801, United States.
These Terms apply to this website and the interactive browser editor available on it. They do not grant a license to a future ScreenDesk desktop application or govern independent third-party websites or software. Please read these Terms before using the website. If you do not agree with them, discontinue your use.
2. Interactive editor and software availability
The website includes an interactive browser editor. A standalone ScreenDesk installer is not currently distributed by this website. Product features and interface designs may change; refer to published release information for supported platforms and capabilities.
The browser editor works with a provided example image. You can toggle annotations, replay the workflow, copy SVG markup, and export the annotated image to your device. It does not capture your screen, import private files, record your desktop, or run a Windows or macOS application.
3. Permitted and prohibited use
You may browse the website and use the interactive editor for lawful personal or internal professional purposes. You may save its exported SVG output, subject to any applicable third-party rights.
You must not use the website to violate law or another person’s rights, distribute malware, attempt unauthorized access, evade access controls, interfere with availability, or submit requests designed to damage or overload the service. This does not prevent responsible, lawful security research that does not expose other people’s data or disrupt the website. Report security concerns using the legal contact below.
4. Repository, downloads, and third-party websites
The Download for Windows and Source buttons link to the ScreenDesk repository on GitHub. Use that repository to review project documentation and check for published release files. Separately published software is governed by its accompanying license and release information.
Review the release information, system requirements, and any license provided with a published file before using it. GitHub is an independent hosting service with its own terms and privacy practices. These website Terms do not replace GitHub’s terms or a license accompanying separately published software.
5. Content and intellectual property
Website text, designs, artwork, code, and other material may be protected by copyright, trademark, or other intellectual-property rights. Except for the permitted use described above and rights provided by law, these Terms do not grant permission to redistribute the website, use its branding as your own, or imply an association with ScreenDesk.
Third-party names and marks identify their respective products or platforms and remain subject to their owners’ rights. Public access to this website does not by itself make its source code or a future application open-source. Any separately published code or software is governed by the license that accompanies it.
6. Privacy and communications
Our Privacy Policy explains the information processed when you visit the website, use the editor, or contact us. The editor does not require you to submit personal screenshots or documents. Do not send passwords, access tokens, or other confidential material that is unnecessary for your inquiry.
The website does not provide a public upload or account facility. Contact links may open an email or telephone application on your device; communications through those services are also subject to your provider’s terms and privacy practices.
7. Availability, changes, and restrictions
We may update the website, revise the interactive editor, update product information, or temporarily interrupt access for maintenance, security, or operational reasons. Content and features may change. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access.
We may restrict activity that violates these Terms or creates a security risk, using proportionate measures. When we change these Terms, we will publish the updated version and its effective date here. Changes apply prospectively, subject to any notice or consent required by applicable law.
8. Responsibility and mandatory legal rights
The website and interactive editor are provided as available for the purposes described in these Terms. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not give an additional warranty that website content is complete or suitable for a particular purpose. Assess whether website content and third-party software meet your needs before relying on them.
To the extent the law permits, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss caused by reliance on website content or the independent actions of third-party services. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or willful misconduct where applicable, or removes any mandatory consumer or other statutory right you may have.
9. Applicable law and concerns
Subject to mandatory protections that apply in your place of residence, these Terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, United States, without applying conflict-of-law rules. This choice does not deprive you of protections or access to a competent court that applicable law does not allow you to waive.
Please contact us first if you have a concern so that we can try to resolve it. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. These Terms concern this website only; separate third-party terms continue to govern external services.
